Assistant Teacher

Leigh brings a one-of-a-kind mix of heart, smarts, and serious global flair to Bloomin’. Before joining us, she presented research on Deaf student safety at the Asian Literacy Conference, helped design inclusive instruction for Deaf learners, and volunteered with the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines. She also created programs encouraging youth to learn sign language and advocated for Deaf community awareness in collaboration with universities in Davao City. Basically, she’s been out here making the world a kinder, more inclusive place—and now she’s doing it one Bloomin’ kid at a time.

When she’s not changing lives, Leigh is probably reading a book, painting something colorful, or proudly napping like it’s a competitive sport. She believes every child deserves to feel safe, celebrated, and wildly loved—and she’s here to make that happen (with style).
